Let’s call her Hope (‘cause that’s her name). What she created is the framed guestbook you now know as the “Original Guesture”. Following a wonderful, fun filled wedding, some friends of the newlyweds asked Hope to make these guestbooks for their weddings. In stepped the entrepreneur of the group and hubby of Hope, we’ll call him Tom. Seeing a possible opportunity, Tom began testing different marketing methods and after a couple of false starts and more than just a couple of lost dollars, they stumbled on the right combination. That was 1997. Within a year we had two full-time employees and quickly outgrew two different garages before landing in our current office/warehouse space. Today we continue to grow the product line of the Guestures concept. Naturally we hope you love the idea as much as we do! It truly is a wonderful keepsake.
